Purposes and legal basis of processing

We process your personal data in order to carry out our business relationship with you, for example as a customer, service provider, supplier, interested party or other interested party.
In particular, we process your data to initiate, execute and invoice orders and contracts, to communicate with you, to promote our goods and services (marketing) and to document relevant transactions.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is:

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO in case of consent;
  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b if we process your data in order to fulfill a contract between you and us or in order to carry out a pre-contractual measure, which takes place on your initiative;

  • Art. 6 (1) (c) if we process the data on the basis of a legal obligation

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f if we process your data on the basis of compelling legitimate interests, and in doing so your interests or fundamental freedoms and rights are not overridden. Such interests may be:

    • Running a proper business operation

    • Ensuring the secure operation of IT,

    • Advertising our own products

    • The prevention and investigation of criminal offences.

You are under no contractual or legal obligation to provide us with your personal data. However, the consequence of not providing it would be that we would not be able to continue our business relationship or only in a limited way.

Categories of recipients of personal data

Departments involved in the performance of our business relationship (e.g. sales, service, accounting, billing, controlling, marketing, management, operational departments, development) and service providers, competent tax office, if applicable lawyer and tax advisor, management consultancies, external service providers in the context of order processing.

Data transfer to a third country

If we have your data processed by a service provider outside the EU/EEA area, the processing will only take place if the third country has been confirmed by the EU Commission to have an adequate level of data protection or if other adequate data protection guarantees are in place.

Duration of data storage

The data will be stored for the duration of the business relationship, and beyond that as long as commercial and tax retention obligations, or those resulting from your warranty and guarantee claims, exist.

Data subject rights

You have a right to information from the responsible party about the personal data concerning you (Art. 15 DSGVO) as well as to correction (Art. 16 DSGVO) or deletion (Art. 17 DSGVO) or to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO). You have the right to object to processing if the conditions according to Art. 21 DSGVO are met. We also draw your attention to your right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 DSGVO, as well as to the fact that you have the right not to be subjected to a decision based solely on automated processing - including profiling. There is no automated decision-making including profiling.

If the processing of your data is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the withdrawal.

Insofar as you should see your right to data protection impaired, we ask you to first contact our data protection officer. In addition, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO. The data protection supervisory authority responsible for us is:
